If you have to ask what that meant, chances are you do not text. Never fear you can start though! Texting is not just for the young anymore! You can now use your cell phone and text for many things, other than the typical BFF or LOL or maybe even FSB.
Many magazines are now offering ads that you text to receive samples, one such magazine is Lucky. Their samples usually go pretty quick too. So keep a look out for those samples and other freebies when you read your favorite magazines.
You can text to 467-467 the word SHOPTEXT and you will be able to receive samples, sweeps entries, coupons, or even shop from their service. You can check out their website for some additional information. These are some offerings currently available:

- text NESTLE to receive a coupon for FREE Nestle Morsels
- text COFFEE to receive a coupon for FREE Folger's Gourmet Coffee

A word of caution on texting is that standard texting rates do apply. So if you do not have a texting plan on your cell phone, now is good time to check that out. If you have unlimited texting, good news is now that texting plan will pay for itself!
I have done some freebie and sample texting in the past. Usually the offers sell out quickly, or maybe I should say run out quickly because they are FREE. Some of the things I have gotten is make-up, make-up bags, shopping bags, granola bars, trail mix, lip balms and of course coupons. Many of the samples I have gotten have arrived with coupons as well.
